Project Manager Renewable Energy Transition, Vietnam.
Myra Fong is a chemical engineer who began her career as a recycled newsprint process engineer in the pulp and paper industry in Canada, where she was in charge of energy efficiency and process optimization. With a desire to make a positive contribution to the climate, she pursued a master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden with a thesis project completed at Zhejiang University in waste-to-energy. She then worked as a consultant for government agencies to facilitate an organic waste segregation project in Hangzhou, China and later as a project manager in private industry to design and deliver data collection and analysis systems for solar PV manufacturers in China and Singapore.
Myra’s role at Act Renewable is to manage low carbon and renewable energy transition projects for clients in SEA and Chinese speaking countries. She brings her strong process knowledge, data analysis and communication skills to propose solutions to help clients achieve their decarbonization goals. In her spare time, Myra likes to go cycling, skiing, Zumba and do pottery.
